Minutes of the Board of Directors for the USGenWeb Census Project

Meeting held 08 March 2001 via Internet using mIRC  beginning at 19:50 EST
and ending at 20:50 EST.

Present:

A quorum being present the meeting was called to order by Wayne Duncan

Minutes from the Board Meetings of March 1, 2001 were approved as
presented.

Robert's Rules of Order were suspended for all actions except motions.

There were no officer, board or standing committee reports.

There were no special orders addressed.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

    Connie Burkett reported that she had notified Sue Soden of our
    agreement to entitle the new button "Gifted" instead of "Donated."

    Wayne Duncan reported that the Public Relations Job Description was
    being proofed.

NEW BUSINESS:

    We discussed how to store and document the "Gifted" items. No
    agreements were reached.

    A lengthy discussion was held concerning the GenSuck article. After
    much discussion, we agreed that Ron Eason would write a "Thank You" for
    the mention In the article and send it without need for additional
    review by the Board.
