Minutes of the Board of Directors for the USGenWeb Census Project

Meeting held 17 MAY 2001 via Internet using mIRC beginning at 20:03 EST
and ending at 21:51 EST.

Present:
    Wayne Duncan, President
    Veda Mendoza, Secretary/Treasurer
    Ellen Horner, Membership
    Connie Burkett

A quorum being present the meeting was called to order by Wayne Duncan

Minutes for 8 Mar 2001; 15 Mar 2001; 19 Apr 2001 and 3 May 2001 were
approved as presented via email.

There were no officer, board or standing committee reports.

There were no special orders addressed.

OLD BUSINESS:

   The election process and timing was discussed:
     Wayne Duncan will send notifications in accordance with the by-laws to
     all voting members. Nominations will be accepted from May 20 through
     May 26 via email by Veda Mendoza with a cc to Connie Burkett.
     Nomination verifications will be conducted from May 29 through May 31.
     Nominations will also be accepted from the floor during the June 1
     Annual Membership Meeting. Each voting member will be assigned a code
     for voting with the voting being conducted during the June 1 meeting.

Wayne Duncan adjourned the meeting.
