your transcription. I realize that transcribing a census takes 
a lot of time and hard work. There are many other priorities in 
our lives that require we take the time to do what we have to 
do and that doesn't always leave time for us to do what we want 
to do. If you have been working on your census transcription and 
can send us a status report to let us know how you've progressed, 
we would appreciate it. If, on the other hand, you are having a 
problem with time and would like to be out of this commitment, 
we will understand.

As I mentioned, transcribing a census takes a lot of time and 
hard work. If you've lost interest in transcribing and need to 
be removed from your assignment please indicate this and let 
me know which census related mailing lists, if any, that you 
are subscribed to. 

If I don't receive your response to this email by [date-30 days] 
I'll sadly assume that you are no longer able to continue 
transcribing and your assignment will be removed.
