Commencing at the summit of the divide between Hinch and Garden ** and running in an easterly direction to the summit of the Black Butte Mountain; thence in a northerly direction to the summit of Old Baldy Mountain; thence along the summit of the divide between Alder Gulch and the Madison river to a point opposite the head of Granite Creek, thence along the summit of the ridge between Granite and California Gulches to the mouth of Alder Gulch Canyon; thence in a **therly direction to the head of ** creek, and thence in a westerly direction to the mouth of the lower Ruby Canyon; thence to the place of beginning, including the Upper Ruby river and tributaries and Alder Gulch and tributaries.

Commencing at a point opposite the head of Granite creek on the summit of the Tobacco Root Mountains; thence following the divide between Granite and Alder Gulches to the north of Alder Gulch Canyon; thence in a **therly direction to the head of Sailor creek; thence in a direct line to the south of the lower Ruby Canyon; thence in a direct line to the summit of the divide between ** and Ranch creeks, thence along the summit of the Ruby Mountains, and thence northerly to the mouth of Mill creek; thence along Mill creek to the summit of Tobacco Root Mountain opposite the head of Mill creek

Commencing at the intersection of the north boundary line of District No. 8 with county line; thence running along the county line between Madison and ** counties to Foreman crossing of the Madison river thence in a southerly direction to the summit of Bald Mountain at the head of north Meadow creek; thence southerly along the summit of Tobacco Root Mountain to the summit of Old Baldy Mountain; thence and east to the county line.

Commencing at the summit of Bald Mountain at the head of North Meadow creek, and running thence along the summit of the Tobacco Root Mountain to a point opposite to the head of the South Boulder creek; thence in a direct line in a northeasterly direction to the mouth of Big Canyon of Willoe creek; thence in a right line in an easterly direction to Foreman's crossing of the Madison river; and thence in a southwesterly direction to the summit of Bald Mountain

Commencing at a point upon the summit of the Tobacco Root Mountain opposite the head of the South Boulder creek, and running thence to a point on said mountains opposite the head of Dry Boulder creek; thence in a direct line to mouth of Hall's Canyon; thence in a direct line to the summit of Table Mountain; thence following the county line easterlu between Madison and Silver Bow and Jefferson counties to the Big Canyon on Willow creek, and thence in a direct line southwesterly to the summit of Tobacco Root Mountains to a point opposite the head of South Boulder creek.

Commencing at the summit of the Table Mountain and running thence along the boundary line between Madison and Silver Bow counties to the mouth of Camp creek; thence following the county line between Beaverhead and Madison counties to the Beaverhead Rock; thence running due south along the boundary line of the county to a point between T** 7 & 8 E. R. 7 W. and running thence due east to the summit of the Ruby Mountains; thence northeasterly along the summit of the Ruby Mountains; thence northerly to a point where the Ruby river crosses the Jefferson ** thence foloowing the Ruby River to its confluence with the Beaverhead river; thence following the Beaverhead river to its confluence with the **ols river; thence following the Jefferson river to the mouth of Hell's Canyon; thence running in a direct line to the summit of Table Mountain.

Commencing at a point on the summit of the Tobacco Root range of mountains opposite the head of Dry Boulder creek and running thence along the summit of the Tobacco Root Mountains to a point opposite the head of Mill creek; thence following said Mill creek to its confluence with the Ruby river; thence along the center of the Ruby river to its confluence with the Beaverhead river thence following the center of the Ruby river to its confluence with the **ighols river; thence following the Jefferson river to the mouth of Hell's Canyon; thence in an easterly direction to a point on the summit of Tobacco Root Mountain opposite the head of Dry Boulder

All the remaining portion of county lying west of the summit of the divide between the Ruby Valley and Beaverhead and Blacktall Valley and all the part lying south and east of the line running from the summit of the divide between Lodford and Blacktail creeks to the summit of Black Butte Mountain; thence to the summit of Old Baldy Mountain; thence running down Wigwan creek to the mouth thereof, and thence due east to the boundary line of the county.
