All that part of the township lying to the east of the following described line: beginning at the Wahchecha Ball on the Stecoah Township line and running west with the main dividing ridge to the east Buffalo road, then down the ridge to Buffalo Creek, then down the creek to the Cheoah River, then up the river to the mouth of Long Creek, then up Long Creek to the top of the Vallry River Mt. and the Cherokee County line, then east with the Cherokee, Macon and Swain County lines to the corner of Stecoah Township line, then with the Stecoah and Cheoah Township line to the beginning.
     
17 Robbinsville Township (part)
All that part of the township lying to the west of the following described line: beginning at the Wahchecha Ball on the Stecoah Township line and running west with the main dividing ridge to the east Buffalo road, then down the ridge to Buffalo Creek, then down the creek to the Cheoah River, then up the river to the mouth of Long Creek to the top of the Valley River Mt. and the Cherokee County line, then east with the Cherokee, Macon and Swain County lines to the corner of Stecoah Township line, then with Stecoah and Cheoah Township line to the beginning.
