All of township west of a line beginning at Township line, dividing Austin Township from Fairview one mile south of the town of Simpsonville, then running north along the public road leading to Pelham until it reaches the Township line dividing Austin and Butler Townships, outside of Simpsonville town
     
15 Austin Township (part)
All of township east of a line beginning at Township line dividing Austin Township from Fairview one mile south of the town of Simpsonville, then running north along the public road leading to Pelham until it reaches the Township line dividing Austin and Butler Townships.
     
16 Bates Township (part) including Athens town
All of township west of a line beginning at point where the Buncombe road crosses the Township line, dividing Bates and Paris Mountain twps., thence along said road to the incorporate limits of the town of Travellers Rest, thence running around to the left with said incorporate limits to the Muckelhaney Road, thence around the right of the town of Athens to the Gap Creek Road, outside of Athens town
     
17 Bates Township (part) including Travellers Rest town
All of township east of a line beginning at point where the Buncombe road crosses the Township line, dividing Bates and Paris Mountain Townships, thence along said road to the incorporate limits of the town of Travellers Rest, thence running around to the left with said incorporate limits to the Muckelhaney Road, thence around the right of the town of Athens to the Gap Creek Road, outside of Travellers Rest town
     
18 Butler Township (part)
All of township east of a line beginning on Township line near Robt. Smith's residence, running thence south on settlement road by J. S. Jones' residence to Perry Hudson Mill, thence on Greenville public road, one-half mile to school house, thence south along the settlement road by Roper Mountain Church to J. D. Green's on Batesville road, thence east down to Dr. Miller's place, thence south along now public road by Bill Hamby's residence to Township line.

All of township west of a line beginning on Township line near Robt. Smith's residence, running thence south on settlement road by J. S.
