All that part of the township lying to the east of the following line beginning on the Valleytown Township line where the same crosses the southern R. R. running with said R. R. to Hiwassee River, then with the said river to the Clay County line.

4 Murphy Township (part) including Murphy town (part)
All that part of the township lying to the west of the following line beginning on the Valleytown Township line where the same crosses the Southern R. R., running with said R. R. to Hiwassee River, then with the said river to the Clay County line.

5 Notla Township (part)
All that part of the township lying to the east of the A.K.& N.R.R.

6 Notla Township (part)
All that part of the township lying to the west of the A.K.& N.R.R.

7 Shoal Creek Township (part)
All that part of the township lying to the north of the following described line: Beginning on the Notala Township line where the same crosses the Old Turnpike, and Ducktown road, near Elmira Walkes residence, and running with said road to the old Suit's place, then with the old Taylor ferry road to the point at Hiwassee River, known as Taylor's Ferry.

8 Shoal Creek Township (part)
All that part of the township lying to the south of the following described line, beginning on the Notala Township line where the same crosses the old Turnpike, and Ducktown road, near Elmira Walkes residence, and running with said road to the Old Suit's place, then with the old Taylor ferry road to the point at Hiwassee River, known as Taylor's Ferry.
